I've been an ESL teacher for 15 years, with experience both offline and online. While I enjoy doing my job, a recent discovery of a persistent ailment led me to take my shot at writing, so here I am. Writing was once my passion in my younger years (seems like ages ago!), so it seems only natural and organic to fall back into. Still, I feel lost as to where to start. What do I even know about writing? My own writing makes me cringe. When I read someone else's work, I can't help but feel inadequate and amateurish. As someone who spent her adult life making English as simple as possible for her students, the way I write doesn't come off as compelling and delightful as I hoped it would be. Anyway, I've finally summoned what little courage I have in me to just go on with it and see where this goes.
Will be writing about teaching and English, I suppose, and teaching English (naturally), as those are the only subjects I know most about. Like any regular girl, I'll throw in a little bit of romance. As a Christian, I'll also reflect on God and my faith. Hope you find something here that resonates with you.
